Casa Puixico: Rural Guest House

Casa Puixico, located on the second floor, is a fully furnished and private apartment. It has one bedroom with a European king size bed and a sofa bed in the living room, allowing for a maximum of 4 guests. The living room, kitchen and dining room are integrated into a single space. The cozy stone and wood finishes are perfect for enjoying a stay in the mountains, but without sacrificing any modern comforts. The apartment also has a covered balcony with views of the mountains and garden.

The Guest House

The Dining Room and Kitchen are fully equipped with a microwave/oven combo, a two-burner induction stove, an undercounter refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, dishes and kitchenware, a sofa bed (with bedding) and television.

The bedroom has a European king size bed with bedding.

The bathroom has a walk in shower, towels, and a hairdryer.

The Terrace has a table with chairs and a clothesline.

For the beginning of your stay we will provide: dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, cleaning products, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap and garbage and recycling bags.

Upon prior request we can also provide:

3. Once we have received the advance payment, you will receive a confirmation and receipt of the reservation.

Location

Calvera is located in the Ribagorza comarca of Huesca, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. At 1,200 meters above sea level, Calvera has views of the Sierra de Sis and El Turbón massif. Just in front of Casa Puixico you’ll find the ancient tower of the castle of Calvera, which is catalogued as Spanish cultural heritage. One of the Romanesque jewels of the comarca also belongs to Calvera: the Monastery of Obarra (10th century). It’s a picturesque town with well-kept stone houses and streets, a Romanesque church (San Andrés, 11th century) and hiking trails that start in the town center. What you won’t find is either a bar or a bakery. It’s a truly rural town, with about 10 inhabitants who live here year round. Here you’ll find a pristine landscape, a peaceful setting, and a strategic location to get to know the Pre-Pyrenees and Pyrenees Mountains.
