the destination
The Isábena Valley is a quiet mountain area away from the main tourist hubs. This less traveled region is a full of Romanesque architecture, rugged hiking, and pristine landscapes. Out-and-back hikes, abandoned villages, and an 11th-century monastery can all be discovered right from Casa Puixico with no need to drive anywhere. Plus, Roda de Isábena, the smallest village in Spain with a cathedral, is a beautifully preserved medieval gem just a 15-minute drive away.

guest testimonial
“We spent a few days at Casa Puixico, a brand-new, well-equipped, and very comfortable rural retreat, featuring underfloor heating/cooling that keeps it nice and cool during the summer. Excellent value for money. It’s located in a beautiful setting, perfect for hiking and discovering wonderful landscapes. The hosts, Sarah and Quim, are exceptionally kind. The accommodation is perfect for families or couples.”
