Casa Puixico is named after a mountain in our village in the Ribagorza region of Huesca, in the Spanish Pyrenees.
We were originally drawn to the natural beauty and small-community feel of this area, and Casa Puixico grew from the idea of sharing this hidden corner of the Pyrenees with visitors. Guests can enjoy rural life, scenic walks, and a village that has preserved its character over time.
Although the Ribagorza region is becoming increasingly international, our village and valley remain off the beaten path, perfect for travelers looking to explore a lesser-known part of the Pyrenees. We provide guidance to help guests discover local paths, nearby villages, and experiences they might not find on their own.

Puixico brings together three complementary activities:
• Rural accommodation for visitors seeking nature, quiet, and a slower pace of life in the Pyrenees
• Weekend English immersion programs in a small, focused setting
• Online English training for professionals, adults, and companies
Each part of the project shares the same foundation: a personal approach and a close connection to our natural surroundings.
Casa Puixico is run by Sarah and her family.
Sarah is originally from the United States and has more than twenty years of experience teaching English in Spain. She has worked with students and professionals across a wide range of sectors, including industry, public administration, engineering, scientific research, media, technology startups, real estate, and nonprofit organizations.
Alongside the English training courses, the project also aims to share this hidden gem with guests in search of a place to disconnect and immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of a rural Spanish village.
